Brazilian Agate: Brazil produces the majority of the agate mined in the world, bringing all types and colors to the market. Each stone carries a story. This round slice of Brazilian Agate features an open pocket of lacey pink Amethyst contested with a border of West Coast Ocean Blue Agate. An edge of basalt suggests the rocky coast in San Francisco where the popular Sutro Baths were built in 1896. This Agate presents the pools which were set at different levels, sans the famous indoor building that burned down in the 50’s. They are located near Seal Rocks and the famous Cliff House where the elite gathered. The rocks carry our history.
