Marra Mamba Tiger Eye: The mineral specimen in this painting is an example of one of Australia’s greatest natural treasures. The radiant stone is primarily a green section of Tiger Eye which also displays a myriad of chatoyant red and gold tigereye as well as gold and red Jasper laced with rivers of Hematite. Only one place in the entire world boasts of this extraordinary treasure, a small vein of material in Western Australia. Of all the varied specimens we feature in our Stone Creations, Marramamba Tiger-eye is our favorite. With the Pandemic we have been hesitant to use up the stones we selected several years ago in Australian, hoping that international shipping will again make it affordable for the miner to ship to the US. Sadly our inventory of this Down Under Treasure is almost depleted.
