Brian Donahue is an American artist best known for his spiritual sculpture. Raised in Arizona, Brian grew up in an Art home. His father, Western Artist Vic Donahue, taught him the fundamentals and importance of Art at an early age. Brian received his formal education from the University of Arizona, receiving a BFA. He worked as a Liturgical Artist creating bronze statues and liturgical furnishing for churches around the country. Stepping away from the disciplines of church doctrine, Brian’s sculptures use the familiar to explore the spiritual. Most of his work relies on traditional symbols and items-of-mature to express his ethereal perspective.
